How to place your bespoke order
★  Getting Started
Welcome to your tailor's store
This is a bespoke ordering platform — everything is made to your exact measurements. You choose your garment type, style, design, colours, fabric, and provide your measurements. Your tailor then crafts your piece and delivers it to you.
Returning customer?
Enter the same email address you used before. Your previous measurements are automatically retrieved and pre-filled, so you only need to update anything that has changed.

Enter your name & email — used to retrieve your profile and send your order reference.

Choose a garment type — Dress, Suit, Shirt, Skirt, and more depending on what your tailor offers.

Pick a style — each garment has style categories (e.g. Kaftan, Blazer). Tap a card to see photos and details.

Select a design — choose from named designs your tailor has created, each with its own photos.

Choose a colour & fabric — pick from the options your tailor has made available for that design.

Enter your measurements — see the body chart for guidance. Measurements in gold italic have tailor tips.

Add notes & files — optional instructions, reference photos, or design files.

Review your cart — add more items or proceed to checkout.

Choose delivery & payment — select how you want your order delivered and how you'll pay.

Confirm your order — you'll receive a WhatsApp message with your order reference number.
◎  Taking Your Measurements
Body Chart
Tap "View Body Chart" on the measurements screen to see an illustrated diagram showing exactly where to measure. Tap any point on the chart to highlight the matching field.
Units
Switch between centimetres (cm) and inches (in) using the toggle at the top of the measurements screen. All fields convert automatically.
Tailor Tips
Fields with notes from your tailor appear in gold italic below the measurement label — these are specific instructions for getting that measurement right. Read them carefully.
Tip: Have someone help you measure. Stand straight, breathe normally, and keep the tape snug but not tight. Measure twice before entering.

Special Instructions
Use the text box to share anything your tailor should know: fit preferences (slim vs. relaxed), event details (date, occasion), specific alterations, or any other requirement.
Uploading Reference Files
Tap the upload zone to attach reference images or documents. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, PDF, DOCX. Maximum file size: 10 MB per file. Your files are stored securely and visible to your tailor in the order.
Files over 10 MB? Send them directly to your tailor's WhatsApp after placing your order — use the WhatsApp button on the confirmation screen.
🛒  Cart & Multiple Items
Ordering more than one garment
After completing a garment's details, you'll be taken to the cart. Tap "+ Another Garment" to add a second item in the same order. Each item has its own measurements, design selections, and notes.
Removing or editing items
On the cart screen, tap next to any item to remove it. To change selections, remove the item and add it again from the beginning.
🚚  Delivery Options
Available methods
Your tailor sets the delivery options available to you. These may include: Pickup (collect from studio), Local Delivery (within the tailor's city), National Shipping, and International Shipping.
WhatsApp number for order updates
On the delivery form you'll see a field labelled "WhatsApp number for order communications." This is the number your tailor will use to send you status updates (e.g. when your order ships). It can be different from the number you ordered from.
💰  Payment
Payment methods
Your tailor controls which payment methods are available — options may include PayPal, MTN MoMo, Orange Money, Bank Transfer, Stripe, Flutterwave, Cash on Delivery, and more. Select the method that works best for you.
Deposits & Balance Payments
Many tailors work on a two-payment basis — a deposit upfront to start production, and the remaining balance once the garment is ready to ship. Your order will move through Deposit Paid → In Production → Fully Paid → Shipped to reflect this. The deposit amount (percentage or fixed) is shown before you confirm. Your tailor will contact you when the balance is due.
Pay Now links go directly to your tailor's payment account. Madefor does not process or hold any payments.

Order confirmation
Once placed, your order is saved and a WhatsApp message is prepared with your order reference. Tap the WhatsApp button to send it to your tailor — this is how they receive your order details and reference photos.
Order status updates
Your tailor will message your WhatsApp number as the order progresses through each stage:
PENDING Your order is received, awaiting tailor confirmation
CONFIRMED Tailor has accepted your order
Deposit confirmed by tailor, production starting
IN PRODUCTION Your garment is being made
FULLY PAID Full payment received — almost ready to ship
SHIPPED Dispatched — tracking number shared if available
DELIVERED Received and complete

Changing the currency
Tap the currency button (top right of the screen, next to this help button) to switch between USD, GBP, NGN, CAD, CFA, VND, and TRY. Prices are converted for your reference using approximate exchange rates. Your tailor bills in their own preferred currency.

Who we are
We are the team behind madefor.fit, a platform connecting customers with independent tailors for made-to-measure garments. We are currently in an early pilot phase. Questions about this policy? Contact us at Madefor@preniftau.resend.app.
What data we collect
We collect only what is needed to process your order and improve your experience:
  • Your name — to address your order correctly
  • Phone number or email — to identify you across sessions and send order updates
  • Delivery address — to calculate shipping and deliver your garment
  • Your measurements — passed to your chosen tailor so your garment fits correctly
  • Order details — garment type, style, fabric, price, and status
We do not collect payment card details. Payments are handled by third-party providers (Stripe or Flutterwave) under their own privacy policies.
How we use your data
We use your data to:
  • Process and fulfil your order
  • Save your measurement profile so future orders pre-fill automatically
  • Send you order status updates via WhatsApp or email
  • Improve the platform based on how it is used
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with anyone except the tailor fulfilling your order and the services listed below.
Who we share your data with
  • Your tailor — receives your name, measurements, style choices, and delivery address. This is necessary to make your garment.
  • Supabase — our database provider. SOC 2 compliant; data stored on encrypted servers.
  • Stripe / Flutterwave — payment processors. They handle your payment details under their own privacy policies. We never see or store your card details.
  • Resend — our email delivery provider, used to send order confirmations and updates.
  • WhatsApp / Meta — if you use the WhatsApp notification feature, your message is sent via WhatsApp under Meta's privacy policy.
Your measurements
Your measurement profile is saved to allow faster repeat orders. It is linked to your phone number or email address. You can request deletion of your measurement profile at any time by emailing Madefor@preniftau.resend.app — we will remove it within 7 days.
How long we keep your data
We keep order records for 3 years for business and accounting purposes. We keep your measurement profile until you request deletion. You can request full deletion of all your data at any time by contacting Madefor@preniftau.resend.app.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to how we use your data
To exercise any of these rights, email Madefor@preniftau.resend.app. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies necessary to keep tailor admins logged in to their store. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
Security
Your data is stored in encrypted databases provided by Supabase. We use HTTPS on all pages. We do not store passwords — tailor login uses a magic link sent to your email.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes we will update the date at the top of this section. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Tailor Guide
Your complete admin reference
★  Overview
Your admin dashboard
The Setup panel (opened by tapping the settings link on the landing page) lets you control everything customers see and how orders flow. Changes are saved by tapping Save and take effect immediately for all visitors to your store link.
Save often. Tap the gold Save button at the top right of the admin panel whenever you finish editing a section. Unsaved changes are lost if you close the panel.
🏠  Brand Tab
Business / Studio Name
This name appears in the store header as "[Name] powered by Madefor". Use your official business or studio name.
Bio / Tagline
A short one- or two-sentence description shown to customers on your landing page. Describe your specialty, location, or what makes your work unique.
City & Country
Used to classify orders as Local (same city as you) or National (different city, same country). Set this accurately so the right shipping rates apply.
WhatsApp Business Number
Enter in international format (e.g. +233 XX XXX XXXX). This is the number customers use to send you their order confirmation message. It also appears as the tailor-to-customer reply destination for all order status updates you send.
Order Email Notifications
Enter your email address to receive automatic notifications when customers place orders. No extra account setup required — Madefor handles the delivery.
Your Store URL
Your permanent customer link — generated automatically after you fill in your Name, City, and WhatsApp. Share it anywhere: Instagram bio, WhatsApp status, printed QR code, business card. It never changes.
😎  Styles Tab — Managing Your Catalogue
Garment Types & Visibility
The tab row shows every garment category. At the top of each garment section there is an on/off toggle — turn it off to hide that garment type from customers entirely (e.g. if you don't offer Skirts). You can re-enable it any time. Customers only see garments that are both turned on and have at least one enabled style.
Styles & the Style Toggle
Within each garment, styles appear as expandable cards (e.g. Kaftan, Blazer, Fitted Dress). Use the toggle switch on each style card to show or hide it from customers. Tap the card header to expand and edit it.
Style Default Price
Set a base price for a style. This is used when a customer selects a design that has no individual price set. Leave blank to use Madefor's default display. Prices are in USD.
Designs (up to 5 per style)
Each style can have up to 5 named designs — customers choose one. For each design you can:
  • Set a Design Name (e.g. "Classic Fit", "Slim Lapel")
  • Set an optional price override that replaces the style default
  • Add up to 5 photos — paste a URL or tap ⇧ Upload to upload a JPG, PNG, or PDF directly (max 10 MB each)
  • Add an optional caption for each photo
  • Assign available colours from the palette or colour wheel
  • Restrict available fabrics (leave all off = all fabrics available). Add a custom fabric that isn't in the standard list using the text field below the fabric toggles
  • Tick Skip fabric step to hide the fabric selection entirely for this design — useful when the fabric is already fixed or built into the price. If only one fabric is selected, the step is skipped automatically
  • Toggle the design visible/hidden using the eye toggle on the card header
Photo uploads go to secure Supabase storage. The URL is auto-filled in the URL field so it's saved with your design data when you tap Save.
📏  Measurements Tab
Tailor Notes per Measurement
For each standard measurement field (Chest, Waist, Hip, etc.) you can add a tailor's note — a short tip shown to the customer in gold italic to help them measure accurately. Example: "Measure across the fullest part of the chest, arms relaxed."
Custom Measurement Parts
Need a measurement point that's not in the standard list? Tap "+ Add Custom Measurement Part" and:
  • Enter a name (e.g. "Knee Circumference")
  • Add an optional customer tip
  • Choose the type: Circumference (horizontal) or Length (vertical)
  • Tap "Place on Body Chart" and click the exact spot on the diagram where this measurement is taken
Custom measurements are per style. Use the garment and style tabs at the top of this screen to switch between them. Each style can have its own custom set.
🚚  Delivery Tab
Your Location
Set your Country and City here (and in the Brand tab). Orders from customers in the same city use your Local Delivery rate; orders from elsewhere in the country use National Shipping.
Shipping Methods
Enable the shipping methods you offer using the toggle on each card. Enabled methods expand to show configuration fields:
  • Pickup: Add your studio address and pickup instructions. Customers see this on the delivery screen.
  • Local Delivery: Set price and estimated delivery time for within your city.
  • National Shipping: Set price and time for other cities in your country.
  • International: Set price and time for overseas orders.
Payment Methods
Enable each payment method you accept. For each one, fill in your account details so customers see a direct Pay Now button or your account number on the confirmation screen. Optionally set a deposit requirement (percentage or fixed amount) per method.
Madefor does not process payments. All Pay Now links and account numbers go directly to your accounts. You confirm payment status manually in the Orders tab.
📋  Orders Tab
Viewing & Filtering Orders
All customer orders appear here, newest first. Use the status filter pills at the top to show only orders of a specific status. Each order card shows the customer name, reference ID, garment, total, delivery method, and all attached files.
Order Status Flow
Advance each order through the lifecycle using the action buttons at the bottom of its card:
PENDING → Confirm Order — you accept the order and begin the process
CONFIRMED → Mark Deposit Paid — once you receive the deposit or partial payment
→ Start Production — when you begin making the garment
IN PRODUCTION → Mark Fully Paid — once the remaining balance is received
FULLY PAID → Mark Shipped — when dispatched (enter tracking number if available)
SHIPPED → Mark Delivered — when the customer confirms receipt
DELIVERED Order complete
Reply on WhatsApp
Each order card has a Reply on WhatsApp button. This opens a pre-written message addressed to the customer's WhatsApp number with their name, order reference, garment details, and current status — ready for you to tap Send. A different template is prepared for each step:
  • Confirmed — order accepted, payment details coming
  • Deposit Paid — deposit received, production starting
  • In Production — garment is being made, stay tuned
  • Fully Paid — full payment confirmed, shipping soon
  • Shipped — dispatched, includes tracking number if entered
  • Delivered — received, invite feedback
Customer Files & Attachments
If a customer uploaded reference photos or documents, they appear in a Files row inside their order card. Images are shown as thumbnails; PDFs and documents appear as labelled links. Tap to open or download.
Tracking Numbers
When advancing a Fully Paid order to Shipped, an input field appears for the tracking number or courier reference. Enter it before tapping the action button — it is included automatically in the WhatsApp message sent to the customer.
Customer WhatsApp vs. your WhatsApp: The Reply on WhatsApp button uses the customer's number (entered on their delivery form). The customer's WhatsApp button on their confirmation screen uses your business WhatsApp (set in the Brand tab).
